Training and support for parents of children whose trust and respect were broken by trauma before age 5. Parents gain access to 10 Modules of online training videos (generally 10-30 minutes each) and related digital documents. Each module includes one group video conferencing session (10 sessions total, 1-5 families in the group) where parents can ask questions about the videos to an expert teacher of Strong Love Parenting, LLC.
This course introduces people in the community to the impact of early childhood trauma, the special challenges of raising a child with wounded trust and attachment, and how community members can support parents of traumatized children ways that give the entire household the best chance at a safe home with healthy relationships. Special trainings are included for tutors and respite providers.
